Trap

What is Trap?

Trapshooting is a specific form of clay target shooting. It is a game of movement, action and split-second timing requiring accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire and break the 4 1/4-inch disc which is hurled through the air, simulating the flight path of a bird fleeing.

When can I shoot? Trap is open to the public Sundays 9am - 12pm and Tuesdays 12pm - 5pm. See club calendar.

Cost is $4/round for members and $6/round for non-members.

Androscoggin County Fish and Game Association hosts ATA Registered Shoots, for more information about ATA Registered Shoots visit the ATA Website.
